“Set with the task to provide one our principal clients, Sky Sports, with a state-of-the-art solution which allowed faster set up times, reduced CO2 emissions and offered the technical and production space needed to embrace the evolution of 3D and 3G technology – the design and commission of the two new Gemini units began.
NEP Visions partnered with Cosby Suppliers to help realise our ideas and that affiliation provided some very innovative solutions. The two trailers depart from conventional internal pods and utilise expansions that are sleeved on the outside, thus providing the space needed to accommodate up to 60 people across the two units in covering major events such as Premier League football.
Fewer trailers allow faster set-up times, mechanical features such as fully attached slide out or hinged steps, self supporting pods and easily moved internal partitions have all helped to speed up our process.”
Of course actions speak louder than words, and this proved to be the case with Visions Gemini who have subsequently returned to Cosby Suppliers to commission addition Outside Broadcast vehicles.
