Double podded exhibition trailer to house and display interactive road safety simulators in a high footfall environment for the Road Safety Authority of Ireland

This exhibition trailer uses the latest Cosby double podded expanding trailer design delivering over 80 square metres of floor space. The design and build of these expanding trailers allows for quick and easy single-operator implementation. The podded trailer easily opens and closes using electro-hydraulic functions which are controlled by a wander lead enabling it to be deployed on site and ready for visitors in under an hour by a single trained operator.
The public facing side of the exhibition trailer is partially glazed and incorporates swinging doors with visitor flow through the floorplan for access via double sets of steps or the folding large scale ramp access with LED illumination. This area of the pod benefits from a gullwing canopy which not only offers protection from the elements but protects the glazing when the vehicle is no longer deployed. The gullwing also contributes to the overall visual impression of this eye-catching mobile road safety service.
A silent on board generator produces enough power for all the on board systems as well as a full air conditioning system. A private area at the front of the trailer houses a galley, storage, and controls for the systems and simulators.
The Road Safety Authority of Ireland commissioned this next generation road safety awareness exhibition trailer to provide an innovative road safety interactive service and will be providing education and encouraging awareness to hundreds of thousands of people across Ireland over the next few years.
The new RSA Shuttle is designed to provide maximum footfall to eight interactive road safety simulators and a further five information points delivered in the trailer. Visitors will find car, motorcycle and bicycle simulators including a physical motorcycle simulator with wrap-around display and the latest Oculus Rift virtual reality car simulators.
