As an experienced provider of medical trailers to the healthcare profession, Cosby Suppliers are used to collaborating with third party specialists and service providers. We’re also experienced in working with vehicles that we have not originated but are asked to refurbish. in this case, a set of existing EMS Healthcare medical trailers underwent significant conversion, with additional expanding trailers added to create an eight bed dialysis ward.
The existing medical trailers were gutted internally and re-built to provide staff areas, reception, consulting, utility rooms, toilet and shower facilities. The new open span mobile dialysis medical trailers created an eight bed ward with isolation room, nurse station and stores area.
The medical trailers are used as a semi permanent facility and can be wired and plumbed to mains services. They are typically used as a temporary solution while a new facility is being constructed or during the refurbishment of an existing one.
The wards feature specialist water systems for dialysis purposes to meet NHS standards as well as finishes and construction methods to constrain the spread of infection. The trailers also incorporate disabled access, CCTV, IT, communications and air conditioning.
