EMS / TENOVUS
A double podded trailer was created for EMS, who operate it on behalf of the Tenovus cancer charity in South Wales.
The trailer is used as a Mobile Cancer Support Unit and delivers a service including on board chemotherapy, counselling and health advice throughout the region.
Apart from all the usual generator and air conditioning facilities, the trailer also features a foldaway consulting room, toilet and specialised plumbing to meet health service standards.

One of a series of lightweight units used for diabetic retonopathy screening.
Split into two rooms, the soft furnished waiting area is accessed by both step or ramp through a double set of doors.
A space saving sliding door provides access to the consulting area where the retinal screening camera is located.

INDUSTRIAL DIAGNOSTICS
Local firm Industrial Diagnostics needed a lightweight, simple to drive vehicle capable of delivering their occupational health screening service direct to customer's premises.
Primarily deployed to perform hearing checks, it features a built in sound booth which is mounted to isolate noise and vibration. The whole interior is lined with acoustic tiles to achieve the required level of silence.
There is also room for other one on one health checks to be performed at the front of the unit with secure cabinets to carry specialised equipment.
The whole vehicle weighs under 3500kg

ESTEL
Another local firm, Estel, also wanted a dedicated unit to provide a mobile hearing check service.
This time a complete sound room was fitted, requiring a greater weight limit of 4500kg. To achieve this, the base vehicle was converted at Al-ko to provide extra payload capacity and body length.
The interior was fully lined with acoustic tiles and a small galley facility was also included
